I can't believe this was a debut novel, it's done SO WELL. I love to recommend this book because anyone and everyone will enjoy it. It's just an enjoyable read. The most lovable characters, especially my guy Marcellus 🐙 If you are looking for a feel good, mystery solving, sea creature hero book, this is it!
This is a book for everyone! Its so hard to explain so we just say - READ IT! Just the other day, my daughter caught me crying over (yet another) book and said, "Mommy are you crying over another octopus book"? I literally LOLd. She even remembers the "octopus book" because it is just so good. There is mystery, amazing relationships, hardships, found family and Marcellus the octopus as the star. Obviously .
Jamie and I both eyeball read it but I've heard to audiobook it because Marcellus has the best accent! Trust us - read it.
