Consider me a Carley Fortune fan now because that was perfection. Wowzer. I loved it!
Percy's family buys a lakeside cottage when she's 13 and she starts spending summers next door to Sam Florek. It's a classic friends to lovers (my favorite) and second chance romance story. GAH! It's so well done! Reminded me a little of Rewind It Back in the Windy City series, if you loved that, you will love this.

Comfort reading done properly: a lake, a summer, and a first love that everybody involved has been polite about for far too long. The pacing sags in the middle act, but the last fifty pages earned the tears they were clearly after.
