Stacia Stark is now an auto-buy author for me. I just love her! I was obsessed with We Who Will Die so I was excited to dive into her prior series, Kingdom of Lies!

I LOVED Lorian and Prisca, the MMC and FMC. Love love love. And his nickname for her is maybe my favorite nickname in all of romantasy: wildcat 🫶🏼🧎🏼‍♀️🎯

I think if this were 3 books, it would be a perfect 5 stars. It did start to drag a bit for me in books 3&4. I never had a BAD time, but I got worn down with all the battle plans.

Another great completed 4-booker! I also feel like this one flies under the radar a lot. It has Legends of Thezmarr vibes to it but it's also different. It follows the playbook for a lot of the things we have come to expect so I do think it was a bit on the predictable side but I loved all of the characters - Prisca is a great FMC and Lorian is the perfect, broody, hot MMC. And his mercenary crew is just the best. There weren't any mind blowing twist that had me rolling off the bed but I still really enjoyed this Kingdom of Lies ride!
