The Memories of Merrick

These are the forty‑three missing days that rewrite the meaning of everything you thought you knew. Set during the 43 unaccounted days at the heart of The Sins of Silas, this pivotal installment returns to the Valley of Awakening, a realm that reveals not only truth, but desire. Trapped in isolation and uncertainty, Merrick and Erabella are forced to rely on each other to survive. What begins as cautious cooperation soon unravels into something more profound: a forbidden tension born from proximity and the unspoken ache of everything they’ve lost. As the days go on, cracks form in the armor they’ve both worn too long, and with every trial, the carefully drawn lines between them begin to blur. Through traumatic flashbacks, fragments of their pasts begin to surface. As truths are revealed and walls crumble, the bond between them grows–not just physical, but soul-deep. And when the final page brings us back to the moment of betrayal, now seen through Erabella’s eyes, everything makes sense. Because love and survival rarely walk the same path, and sometimes, choosing one means damning the other.
