Awwwww I loved it, you guys! I can't believe it took me so long to pick these up. I'm so glad I did! It's just a splendid little romantasy duology (I've only read The Ever King and The Ever Queen, The Mist Thief and The Stolen Crown are interconnected standalones).

Livia is an earth fae and makes friends with an imprisoned enemy sea fae boy when they are young. Fast forward 10 years and he's back to exact revenge by kidnapping her.

I loved all the characters, I loved how action packed it was without bloating the plot. The serpent 🐍 has it baaaaaaad for his songbird, ya'll.
